Water Damaged Phones
Tips & Suggestions if your phone has been water damaged
1. Strip it down
- take battery off
- take SIM card out
- take memory card out
- take face off if possible

2. Don't attempt to use it even if it works
3. Don't attempt to charge it
4. Send it immediately for repair
Phones sent for repair within 24-48 hours have the highest success rate of being repaired for major water/liquid damage.
Minor damage i.e. sticky keys or replaceable parts can be repaired after this time.

Turnaround time is around 7 days after receiving the phone for liquid ingress depending on job and availability of parts.
Please Note: Please send in your phone using courier tracking bag, wrap the phone with bubble and enclose a return courier bag together when you send in your phone. Don’t forget to enclose your contact details also please state how the water/liquid damage happened.

Our Inspection Fee Charge for Water Damaged Phones
All standard phones: $25 including GST
Apple iPhone, iPod, PDA, PSP and SmartPhones: $45 including GST
P.S. If your phone cannot be repaired or you cancel the job you will only need to pay for our standard inspection fee and if you continue with the repair the inspection fee will be included in our service fee.? If you pay your inspection fee in advance this fee will be counted towards your final repair cost.
