Omni Tech Limited is able to unlock overseas mobile phones to be used in New Zealand and in other countries as well.
Network Unlocking
Some Service Provider Locks do not allow you to use your handset other than with the service provider that you originally purchased your handset from. For example if your phone works on Vodafone UK and you want it to work on Vodafone NZ we can unlock it to work on all networks.
However if your phone is barred/blacklisted (not working on any network due to it being stolen or the person who had it did not pay his contract account) please do not bother asking us to unblock the phone as this is illegal.
We only unlock mobile phones as this is perfectly legal. When you unlock a phone all you are doing is removing the service provider or network operator lock. This then enables your phone to work with an alternate network SIM card. Once a phone has been unlocked you can use any network SIM card with your phone to choose the network that works for you without having to buy a new phone.
There is a strong argument suggesting that the locking of phones by mobile networks should be illegal, as it restricts choice and freedom. It is your phone and so you should be free to choose which SIM card to use with it. You would never get a car manufacturer saying you can only fill up your petrol with BP.
We also provide remote unlock for any mobile phones which is supported on this type of service. Remote Unlocking is the kind of service in which you dont need to send in your phone to us for unlock, all you have to do is tell us some details about your phone then we can supply you the unlock code without any hassle.

Preparing for Unlocking

If you need your phone to be unlocked to allow it for use with other networks, get in touch with us as we are able to provide this service. You can come directly to our service centre or send in your device via courier. We highly recommend to customers to only use insured courier services (make sure you phone is packed carefully with bubbles).
Data Loss Disclaimer
Please be aware that part of the test and repair procedure for mobile phone may require upgrading the unit’s software and/or the replacement of components that store data, settings and other content or contact information. Whether to upgrade any software or replace any component in the test and repair process is extremely at the discretion of Omni Tech Ltd unless specifically instructed otherwise in writing by the customer.
It is strongly recommended you backup all data before sending in any equipment for service.
Any instruction NOT to delete data must be in writing on the Service Request Form and signed by the customer.
The term “DATA” means to include but is not limited to: Pictures, Programs, Applications, Documents and Other Files.
The term “Customer” means the person or entity actually submitting equipment for service and repair regardless of ownership of the equipment. It is a condition of the Customer submitting and Omni Tech Ltd receiving any equipment for repair that the Customer understands this warning regarding potential data loss. This warning applies to any person or business submitting equipment for repair. In all cases Omni Tech Ltd assumes the Customer is authorised to submit such equipment for reapir and the Customer accepts responsibility under this notice.
Omni Tech Ltd cannot accept responsibility for any such of data loss should it occur during the test and repair procedure, nor for any consequential personal or business loss including goodwill or wasted expenditure or any indirect or consequential loss.
If you are unsure of the meaning of this notice please discuss it with our staff BEFORE you hand over equipment for service.
Software Repair Disclaimer
Due to the nature of Software Applications, Omni Tech Ltd cannot be held liable for disintegration of software platforms that might result in the handset being permanently damaged, this does not happen often but you need to be aware of the risk involved when submitting your device for unlock especially for Network Lock or SP Lock. We currently have a success rate of 100% and proud of our supreme software and unlocking skills.
