Position Title: ICT Support Technician

Location: Auckland, New Zealand

Report to: Workshop Manager

Duties & Responsibilities:

Omni Tech Limited requires the services of ICT Support Technician. The job position includes the following duties and responsibilities reasonably incidental to these:

  • Provide first class IT support and customer service to our staff and customers.
  • Respond to all enquiries from clients and help them resolve any ICT problems.
  • Promoting ICT goods and services to existing and prospective customers.
  • Responsible for maintenance of company’s software.
  • Update the software with new products and services on regular intervals
  • Educating customers on new technology-applications, installation and benefits.
  • Responsible for smooth networking of the business
  • Create new computer networks and security programs and install appropriate software.
  • Monitor performance of equipment and computer systems or software to ensure optimal performance.
  • Responsible for repairing and updating of devices of the business.
  • Repairing Cellphone and accessories.
  • Ensure every computer used in the business is protected from virus through installation- update of Anti-Virus software on time
  • Ensure data of the business is secured and safe.
  • Explain and give walk-through of company’s website and provides a brief overview.
  • Responsible for maintenance of company’s website.
  • Resolves technical issues of the staff and customers in the store.
  • Provide guidelines to customers on how to setup their connections, modem and security setting in the store.
  • Sharing suggestions and ideas to increase the sale of ICT / Telecommunication goods with the management.
  • Compliance with Health and Safety policies of the business.
